- Approve or reject raw potatoes based on the established specifications.
- Oversee the preparation of storage areas and refrigerators prior to storage, focusing on work efficiency, equipment, cleanliness, sterilization, and storage conditions.
- Review reports during raw potato storage regarding storage conditions, quality, discounts, sorting, and defects.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure the quality and safety of the raw potatoes.
- Supervise the storage conditions of raw potatoes to maintain quality and extend storage life.
- Study inventory and address issues such as spoilage and overcrowding, requiring managerial intervention.
- Execute tasks assigned by the manager within the scope of responsibilities and authority.
- Ensure the delivery of potatoes to the factory meets technical specifications.
- Manage the team responsible for reception and storage.
- Take full responsibility for the quality of potatoes from contracting and cultivation to storage and delivery to the production plant.
- Ensure specifications are met during reception and take samples during storage to verify potato quality.
- Confirm laboratory testing to ensure the potatoes are defect-free and suitable for production according to specifications.
Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Engineering or Agriculture.4-10 years of experience in the same field, especially with potatoes.Age between 30 and 45 years.Fluent in Arabic and English, both spoken and written.Computer skills (Microsoft Office).Knowledge of industrial safety regulations.Good understanding of all types of potatoes and storage conditions.Interpersonal skills and the ability to interface assertively with employees and suppliers. Expert level attention to detail.Ability to learn to identify potato related deficits and willingness to learn all phases of potato related QA.Knowledge of laboratory procedures and practices.
