Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Back Office Operations & Marketing Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing reservations, contracting with tour suppliers, uploading products into our online system, assisting in website development, and executing marketing strategies. The role also involves effective communication with clients through emails and messages to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Reservations Management:
Handle all back-office reservations, ensuring accurate booking of tours, accommodations, and other travel-related services.
Manage and update booking records in the company's reservation system.
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of client itineraries.
Supplier Contracting:
Establish and maintain relationships with tour suppliers, hotels, and other travel service providers.
Negotiate contracts, ensuring the best rates and terms for the company.
Keep track of contract renewals and updates.
Product Uploading:
Upload and update travel products, packages, and itineraries into the company’s online booking system.
Ensure that all product information is accurate, up-to-date, and visually appealing.
Collaborate with the design and content teams to create engaging product descriptions.
Website Development Support:
Assist in the development and maintenance of the company’s website.
Work closely with the IT team to implement new features and ensure the website is user-friendly.
Regularly review website content and update as necessary.
Marketing and Communication:
Develop and execute marketing strategies to promote travel products and services.
Manage social media accounts, creating and scheduling content to increase engagement.
Draft and send newsletters, promotional emails, and other client communications.
Respond to client inquiries via email and messaging platforms in a timely and professional manner.
Client Relationship Management:
Provide exceptional customer service, addressing client needs and concerns promptly.
Maintain a high level of client satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving.
Follow up with clients post-travel to gather feedback and encourage repeat business.
Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role within the travel and tourism industry. Technical Skills: Proficiency in reservation systems and online booking platforms. Familiarity with website management tools (e.g., WordPress, CMS). Strong knowledge of digital marketing, including email campaigns and social media management. Soft Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Problem-solving mindset and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.Language Skills:Proficiency in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.Additional languages are a plus, particularly those relevant to our client base.Location: Egypt / Cairo - Remote Work from Home
