Overview of the role:
The role is responsible to ensure the team deliver on budgeted net sales, gross margin, net profit and the Customer Service Index (CSI) for all Nile Trading Automotive Brands in Egypt while developing and executing the brand and product strategy for growth in Egypt. They will have focus on the entire customer journey enabling the different functions to deliver a first-class customer experience and maintain a collaborative relationship with the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM).
What you will do:
- Strategic development: Strategic development of the brand delivering the vision for the future that provides sustainable growth, as well as overseeing and enhancing the overall performance with direct responsibility for Sales, After Sales, Marketing, Planning, Pricing, and Performance.
- Budgeting: To prepare the annual budgets by considering the Units in operations, future units’ sale, and past performance to ensure that the Company’s Objective of growth is met and in line with the Market conditions.
- Revenue & Profit: To achieve and exceed the budgeted target on Net sales, Gross Margins and Net profit by maximising the revenue streams and optimising key Service KPI’s of Productivity, Efficiency and Utilisation
- CSV: To develop, implement and improve the service process to enhance the Customer service experience and retain CSI number.
- Maintain Principle Standards: Work with OEM teams, Principal, and AF Group teams, to deliver a first-class customer experience through rigorous focus on the customer journey, business processes, technology and continuous improvement.
- Customer Retention: To develop, implement and improve CRM activities to improve Customer retention and service coverage ratio by proactively anticipating the changing Customer needs and demands
- Value Chain Optimization: Promote innovation & collaboration with AF Group divisions (Sales, Service, F&I, Used Car, Engagement Centre…etc..) to enhance customer experience and optimize Value Chain of Sales, including parts and service and leverage Group investments in technology to drive efficient sales.
- A/R and Stock Provision Management: Responsible for A/R and Stock Provision Management, requiring close coordination with OEM Operations for Marketing & Customer Relationship management.
- Culture Change: Create a culture of the OEM way of working throughout the organization embedding OEM business practices as a way of doing business whilst also leveraging the Al-Futtaim and Trading Enterprises cultural strengths
- Staff Retention & engagement: To develop and implement systems for motivating the team members to increase their engagement levels and attract newcomers to be a company of choice through training & development, regular meetings and defining career path for highly engaged workforce
- Talent Development: Drive a talent and nationalization development system that creates professionals recruited correctly and future orientated, developed by education, coaching and performance management, and engaged through succession planning and a sense of purpose and meaning for developing the brand.

About the team:
The role reports to the General Manager - International, managing a team and will interact with mutliple internal and external stakeholders across business.

- This position requires business maturity, excellent judgment and a hands-on entrepreneurial spirit. Successful candidates generally have 10 - 15 years of professional and Automotive industry experience with a minimum of 5 years’ proven success in a senior management role.
- Experience in strategic planning and execution. Street-smart with acute understanding of automotive market dynamics. Strong empathy for the customer with insights and understanding of their behaviour. Understanding of market segmentation and product marketing as well as service and parts operations. Knowledge of contracting, negotiating, and change management. Experience in examining and re-engineering operations and procedures. Experience in formulating policy and developing and implementing new strategies and procedures. Ability to develop financial plans and manage resources. Knowledge of public relations principles and practices. Knowledge of communication and public relation techniques. Proven to be able to identify and secure funding/revenue sources.
- Ideally has experience in Egypt market and has worked for some time in an Automotive Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) but mostly with Retail Automotive/Dealership experience.
- Ideally has experience working with a mass market automotive brand.
