- Developing and maintaining the company's cost accounting system, including the design and implementation of cost allocation methodologies and cost centers.
- Analyzing and interpreting data to identify trends and patterns in cost behavior, production efficiencies, and cost variances.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, such as operations, procurement, and sales, to optimize cost management and profitability throughout the organization.
- Creating and reviewing cost estimates for new products or services, considering factors such as direct and indirect costs, overhead allocation, and pricing strategies.
- Providing financial insights and recommendations to management based on cost analysis, highlighting areas for cost reduction, process improvement, and revenue enhancement.
- Participating in the development of annual budgets and forecasts, providing cost inputs, and assisting in financial projections.
- Assisting in the evaluation and implementation of cost control measures, identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency enhancements.
- Conducting regular cost audits to ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations, and identifying any discrepancies or areas of improvement.
- Collaborating with the finance team in the preparation and presentation of financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual cost analysis reports.
- Supporting internal and external audits related to cost accounting processes, ensuring accurate and timely provision of relevant data and documentation.
- Staying updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in cost management and accounting techniques, and recommending appropriate changes or enhancements to the organization's cost accounting practices.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.2 to 3 years of proven experience as a Cost Accountant, preferably in a manufacturing or pharma industry. Excellent analytical skills with attention to detailFamiliarity with ERP systems, preferably Odoo. Proficiency in cost accounting software and advanced MS Excel skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively.Ethical conduct and commitment to confidentiality.Strong time management skillsExcellent commutation skills and Organizational skills.
