Educational Leadership:
- Develop and implement a high-quality early childhood education curriculum aligned with national standards.
- Oversee the daily educational programs and activities.
- Foster a stimulating and engaging learning environment for children.
- Evaluate and assess children's progress and development.
- Construct the KG projects and events
- Coordinate with the Head of Primary as and when necessary (reporting about problematic KG2graduates who enter the Primary Section
- Responsible for all book orders for all subjects per level.
Staff Management:
- Recruit, hire, train, and supervise kindergarten staff.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing professional development.
- Create a positive and supportive work environment.
- Manage staff schedules and timetables.
- Be involved with the recruitment of new staff by evaluating all CVs received and assisting with the
- interviews of local candidates
- Allocate work and responsibilities to other members of the section (administrative, supervising and cleaning sections) and to be concerned for their development
Parent Relations:
- Build strong and collaborative relationships with parents.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development and progress.
- Organize parent-teacher conferences and other parent-involvement activities.
- Address parent concerns and questions in a timely and professional manner.
Operational Management:
- Develop and manage the kindergarten budget.
- Ensure compliance with all licensing and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain a safe and healthy learning environment.
- Oversee daily operations, including enrollment, attendance, and communication.
- Manage facilities, equipment, and resources.
- Ensure the links (school website, newsletters) are updated.
- Be involved in interviewing new students.
Quality Assurance:
- Implement and evaluate the KG Yearly Plan
- Have overall responsibility for the efficient administration of the KG in such matters as updating schemes of work; recording pupils’ progress; writing assessments and reports; following the school LMS and other similar duties
- Implement and maintain quality improvement initiatives.
- Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness.
- Collect and analyze data to inform decision-making
