- Oversee physical and cycle inventory counts; investigate discrepancies and resolve related issues.
- Validate cost of goods sold during the month-end close process.
- Allocate overhead costs according to GAAP.
- Evaluate the impact of changes in product design, raw materials, and manufacturing methods on costs.
- Compare actual manufacturing costs with standard costs; prepare reports highlighting variances.
- Conduct cost audits and prepare variance reports.
- Estimate costs for new and proposed products.
- Develop monthly cost reports, including break-even analyses and profitability assessments, to support decision-making.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.Experience: 3-5 years of hands-on experience in Cost Accounting.Computer Proficiency: Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.Languages: Proficiency in Arabic and English.Technical Competencies:Experience with ERP systems.Strong understanding of the accounting cycle and financial reporting.Expertise in managing Accounts Payable processes.In-depth knowledge of cost accounting principles and methodologies.
