Utility Manager

Job Description
  • Develop cost and time estimates of planned maintenance work.
  • Plan, schedule, and audit vehicle maintenance repairs to include preventative, mechanical and electrical repair to tractors, trucks and trailers.
  • Determine, analyze, and plan the required quantity of the cutting line and heavy equipment spare parts and consumables, then issue PR, and control (follow up) the delivery time and consumption rates to ensure the continuity of the production process.
  • Analyze the root causes of equipment failures; specify the best course of action to repair the equipment to minimize the repair time and ensure best quality.
  • Scope the full extent of maintenance work needed to conduct the relevant repair / preventive / predictive / design-out activities on the organization’s Fleet and Workshop Machinery.
  • Monitor the fleet maintenance history and job records database.
  • Monitor the technical information on processes, Fleet and equipment.
  • Conducting site inspections and identifying areas requiring extra maintenance work
  • Supervising maintenance workers and ensuring they follow safe work practices
  • Track materials required for quoted jobs and scheduled Maintenance 
  • Follow up on new or renewal Maintenance Agreements 
  • Follow up on technician licenses and certificates are renewed and kept up to date 
  • Ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety Act 


Job Requirements
  • - Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechatronics, Electrical)
  • - +10 years of experience in maintaining engineering
