Responsibilities:
Team Leadership:
- Lead and mentor a team of localization project managers.
- Assign projects and tasks based on team members' strengths and workload.
- Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for team members.
- Foster a collaborative and productive team environment.
Project Management:
- Develop and implement project plans, timelines, and budgets.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (engineering, marketing, sales) to ensure project alignment.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and develop mitigation plans.
- Ensure on-time and on-budget delivery of localization projects.
- Manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
Quality Assurance:
- Define and implement quality standards and processes.
- Conduct regular quality audits and reviews.
- Identify and resolve quality issues.
- Ensure adherence to industry best practices.
Vendor Management:
- Manage relationships with external localization vendors and service providers.
- Negotiate contracts and rates.
- Evaluate vendor performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
Process Improvement:
- Continuously analyze and optimize localization processes.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies.
