Key Responsibilities:
- Understand the technical specifications, features, and applications of the company's construction products and services.
- Analyze customer requirements, engineering drawings, and project details to recommend the most suitable products and solutions.
- Prepare sales proposals, technical presentations, and product demonstrations to effectively showcase the company's offerings.
- Collaborate with the engineering and product teams to stay updated on new developments and incorporate customer feedback.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and client meetings to network, generate leads, and build relationships.
- Coordinate with the sales and project management teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
- Meet or exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets and revenue goals set for the assigned territory or accounts.
- Provide regular reports on sales activities, pipeline, and market trends to the management.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field
- 3-5 years of experience in a sales engineering or technical sales role in the construction industry
- Strong understanding of construction materials, methods, and industry standards
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Proficient in reading engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Travel within the assigned territory as required (up to 50% of the time)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional Engineering (P.E.) certification
- Previous experience in a construction or building materials company
- Familiarity with construction project management software
