- Assists Operations Managers for meeting the plant promises on quality.
- Standardization of new products & formulations.
- Monitoring of Process and Product Quality Plans, Rejection, and Rework Analysis to achieve close to zero defects.
- Maintaining coordination with technical function, plant production, and plant engineering for smooth implementation of new products introduction.
- Designing and implementing new processes and products and troubleshooting issues related to existing/new products.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for paint formulations and production processes.
- Collaborate with the R&D team to develop new paint formulations and improve existing products.
- Ensure all products comply with relevant industry standards.
Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related fieldMBA or Master’s degree highly preferredMinimum 10 years of experience in a paints and coatings in different roles (Production, R&D, and QC)Experience in manufacturing process industry like Paint, ChemicalStrong knowledge of paint chemistry, formulation techniques, and quality control methodsProficient in manufacturing process knowledgeResult orientationExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detailStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamShould have good command in English (Oral & Written)
