Position Title: Field Services Engineer II

JOB PURPOSE


The job holder is responsible for providing technical support to customers and field service personnel in the prepare Standard Documents, installation, maintenance, and repair of fiberglass manufacturing equipment. They work with a high degree of autonomy and are responsible for providing customer support and training as needed. This position may require frequent travel to customer sites.

Field Service Know-How/ Standard Documents, Planning and Control of Site Work Activities/ Control of Tools and Equipments/ Asset Inventories


 


Responsibilities / Performance Measures



  • Assist the initiative of standardizing the know-how documents, method statements and further maintain, develop and update them.

  • Provide technical support to customers and field service personnel in the installation, maintenance, and repair of fiberglass manufacturing equipment

  • Troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues with equipment and develop solutions to address them

  • Work with customers and field service personnel to provide training on the proper use and maintenance of equipment

  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers and field service personnel

  • Communicate effectively with customers, field service personnel, and internal teams to ensure timely and effective resolution of issues

  • Participate in the development and implementation of new products and processes

  • Continuously improve technical knowledge and skills related to fiberglass manufacturing equipment and processes


 


Planning and Control



  • Develops and maintains documentation regarding new installation procedures and/or products, and services.

  • Develops and maintain Training programs for Field service personnel as well as Bonders qualification.


 


HSE



  • Comply with relevant safety, quality and environmental control procedures and instructions.

  • Use personal protective equipment and safety gear when performing assigned tasks.

  • Keep operational areas clean and well organized to prevent incidents and accidents.

  • Report unsafe acts, incidents, or safety violations.

  • Develop a safety culture by ensuring all staff comply with HSE policies and procedures.

  • Participate in QHSE audits, incident reporting and review of QHSE performances as required.


 

Skills

Required Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical or civil Engineering


Preferred Experience:



  • 3-5 years of experience in the technical office, installation, maintenance, and repair of fiberglass manufacturing equipment


Job-Specific Skills:



  • Strong technical knowledge of fiberglass manufacturing processes and equipment

  • Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues with equipment.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Strong customer service skills and ability to develop and maintain positive customer relationships.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

  • Willingness to travel frequently to customer sites as needed.
