As Group HR Manager, 

  • you will deliver a proactive and flexible HR service by providing relevant and appropriate HR support to all employees, whilst driving best practice and ensuring compliance with all Company procedures. 
  • documented policies and employment legislation.
  • The Group HR Manager will have responsibility for three operational site to include Sharjah, Egypt and also the Ethiopian facility (upon its restart after the war – Ethiopian facility is currently closed).
  •  The Group HR Manager will provide HR advice and support to managers on a wide range of strategic and operational HR issues and will be expected to drive HR improvements and increased business performance pro-actively and independently. 

Responsible for providing effective services to employees and the delivery of HR core processes Develop and maintain key internal and external relationships, which may include business leaders, hiring managers, industry contacts, employees.Create and review KPI’s and effective measurement toolsResponsible for the HR budget and minimizing costs, drive cost saving initiatives Proactively identify, plan and implement process improvements across the department that will increase efficiency.Ensuring employee welfare and relations are positive.Identifying and meeting the training needs of existing staff and ensuring appropriate training is provided.Set up of career path and periodical reviews in HR.Responsible for ensuring all employment and worker contracts and agreements issued are fit for purpose and in line with current policy.Undertake the full range of staff recruitment and selection processes within agreed timeframes, including drafting and placing advertisements, coordinating candidate information, conducting first round interviews, conducting reference checks and preparing offers of employment.Coordinate with PRO for employee visa & contracts renewals and other tasks jobs related to various Government departments.Ensuring the work place is a safe environment for employees.Informing employees of opportunities for development and individual growthUnderstand requirements for employee visa & contracts renewals and other tasks jobs related to various locations.Support various HR projects linked to short and long term HR strategy deliverables to the business.Support with the preparation of weekly/monthly/quarterly reports as required by the Senior Management teamMonitor all Employee attendance and take action where necessary. Manage the exit process with regard to exit interviews and settlement inputs to ensure a seamless exit for the employee.Give advice on Company standards to Employees, and respond to general enquiries in a timely manner, being mindful of global time differences.Assist with any requested HR documentation.Pre-requisites & Requirements:Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Sociology or related;Experience of successfully developing, leading and implementing strategy, policy or operational plans across a medium or large organization in manufacturing;Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;Highly proficient in spoken and written English and Arabic;10 years of experience in Human Resources, including experience in employee relations and delivering on a wide range of HR initiatives across a large organization;Energetic, flexible, self-starting attitude, who likes to lead by example;Ability to problem solve by thinking outside the box;Proven experience recruiting;An ability to interact proactively with management and staff at all levels of the organization in the resolution of HR issues;To be able to work with diversified cultures and blue colorTo be able to travel for short and longer-term (up to 30 days)
