· Monitor and maintain automation systems, including PLCs, DCS, ESD and SCADA, to ensure their smooth operation.
· Conduct routine checks and inspections to identify and address any issues promptly.
· Diagnose problems of standalone and emergency systems and perform agreed-upon action plan.
· Generate all daily reports/Trends required to analyze and troubleshoot operation upsets.
· Made necessary simulation, force and bypass activities to ensure that all preventive and corrective maintenance activities performed in a safe way without disturbing the process.
· Organize and coordinate the procurement of spare parts for all automation system spare parts.
· Oversee and execute complex tasks as per the agreed-upon plan during turnaround periods.
· Proven experience as an Automation Engineer in Petrochemicals / industrial environment.· Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with DCS SIEMENS PCS7. · Proficiency in programming and configuring PLCs particularly SIEMENS Step7-400, 300 and 200 series and familiar with Allen Bradley controllers. · Experience in various industrial networks and communication protocols.· Experience with SCADA systems and demonstrated the ability in designing and integrating PLC program and HMI panels.· Experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining automation solutions for· Projects in the oil & gas and petrochemical sector.· Knowledge of safety instrumented systems (SIS) and functional safety standards.
