Key accountabilities and decision ownership

  • Execute the network and security activities across the company achieving the highest performance, connectivity, scalability, and security standards.
  • Configure, maintain, and upgrade existing and new systems and servers.
  • Troubleshoot issues and fix all vulnerabilities.
  • Support all employees with their technical network and connectivity issues and ensure a timely resolution.
  • Conduct continuous checks on the operating systems to ensure they are working properly and no suspicious issues from a security perspective, verify all backup systems and ensure backups are available.
  • Develop and lead disaster recovery plans to ensure the business continuity in cases of emergency.
  • Review and update the technical documentation of the network activities.
  • Create and present reports on the systems performance, security status, outages, … etc and work with the manager on enhancing where needed

- BSc. in IT, Computer Science, or relevant field - 4+ years of experience in technical support, infrastructure, and network - Proven experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator, or similar role - Experience with databases, networks (LAN, WAN) and patch management - Knowledge of system security (e.g. intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recovery - Strong knowledge of implementing and effectively developing helpdesk and IT operations best Practices, including knowledge of security, storage, data protection, and disaster recovery protocols - Strong knowledge of systems and networking software, hardware, and networking protocols - Able to support multiple projects efficiently, maintain strict confidentiality, function in a dynamic environment, handle stress and high levels of responsibility, and work well in a team environment. - Experience in corporate networks, specifically networks that span multiple subnets. - Experience in Office 365 support and maintenance. - Proficiency in English - Excellent communication skills
