Business Development Manager - Chemical Industry

  • Build up a strong product development team in terms of technical knowledge and working skill.
  • Responsible for formula cost optimization projects & to conduct cost-saving projects.
  • Issuing standard operating procedures for the manufacture of new products. 
  • Managing new product development from theoretical recipe to lab prototype and final product.
  • Review finish product raw materials, labeling changes, specification sheets, and test methods for compliance with regulations and policies.
  • Work closely within commercial, production and R&D departments a thought partner to outline the strategy for the Specialty and Durables businesses and create product roadmaps aligned to meet the strategy.
  • Following up quality of competitor’s products on market.
  • Staying up to date with industry technological developments. 
  • Collaborate with external partners such as suppliers & Technical. support centers.  
  • Provides up-to-date market information such as competition information (products, prices, services, new technology, etc.…), new business opportunities, threats to existing company’s business, etc.…
  • Maintaining and developing relationships with current clients
  • Creating strategies to successfully reach new business opportunities
  • Building relationships with new clients, measuring their needs and developing proposals to address these needs

Bachelor's degree in science / chemicals or a related fieldExperience in Sales & Marketing is a mustMinimum of 7-10 years of experience in the same role/related field.Client-focused solutions experience.Talent for influencing client management.Ability to manage multiple projects and relationships at the same time.Effective customer management skills with demonstrated ability to work successfully with collaborate sales teams to meet performance goals.Proficiency in relevant sales software and CRM systemsTime management and planning skillsFluency in English and Arabic, as other language is preferred
