The Import & Export Specialist is responsible for operating the import and export of goods, will ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to international business, and will coordinate with customs and carriers to ensure efficient transit of goods.
Job Responsibilities:
- Monitor shipments and coordinate with customs, carriers, and vendors to ensure the timely arrival of goods.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to international business
- Monitor and report changes in regulations that may affect the shipment of goods.
- Prepare, review, and submit documents related to import and export activities
- Work with vendors, customers, and other departments to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Negotiate with vendors and carriers for competitive pricing and services
- Respond to customer inquiries related to import and export activities
- Reviewing invoicing and handling service provider's claims.
- Follow payment settlement with finance.
Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Logistics, or related field.At least 3 years of experience in import and export operations.Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations related to international business.Experience with export documentation, compliance, and logistics coordination.Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other related software.Very Good in English (writing, listening, and speaking).
