Intertrade Co., the largest producer of PVC gaskets in Egypt, is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Procurement and Inventory Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement and inventory management, preferably in the PVC or materials manufacturing industry. This role requires excellent organizational skills, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and the ability to manage supplier relationships and maintain accurate inventory records.

• Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate pricing, and secure contracts to ensure cost-effective procurement of materials.
• Place orders and track their status to ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure consistent quality and reliability.
• Evaluate and monitor supplier performance using key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Maintain accurate inventory records, including tracking stock levels, reorder points, and safety stock levels.
• Conduct regular inventory audits to verify accuracy and address discrepancies.
• Implement inventory control procedures to minimize stock discrepancies and ensure optimal inventory levels.
• Coordinate with the production and sales departments to forecast demand and plan inventory accordingly.
• Create and maintain detailed Excel spreadsheets to track procurement and inventory metrics.
• Analyze inventory data to identify trends, potential risks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Prepare and present comprehensive reports on procurement and inventory status, KPIs, and cost savings to management.
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and industry regulations.
• Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs in the supply chain.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and market trends to maintain a competitive edge.
