Chief Procurement & Contracts Engineer

  1. Look for new suppliers and sub-contractors that can support the business needs inside and outside of Egypt. 
  2. Update suppliers and Sub-Contractor database briefing Works history, official documents, Qualifications of Human Resources to facilitate selection process.
  3. Prepare & submit Quotation Request according to the project’s requirements clarifying technical specification, special requirements and Bill of Quantities (BOQ).
  4. Compare between offers covering the technical and financial aspects to help in selecting the best that can suit the project needs.
  5. Handle negotiation with suppliers and sub-contractor through win-win solutions within the company policy for payment and delivery terms
  6. Builds and maintain relationships with suppliers and sub-contractors in order to secure long term relation.
  7. Follow up works quality for each Sub-Constructor according to the quarter and the semiannual reports received from the projects and site visits in order to take the appropriate actions towards the inefficient Sub-Contractors.

Beyond the above-mentioned responsibilities, the Chief Procurements & Contracts Engineer would be entitled to carry any specific assignments or new responsibilities by the Direct Manager and Top Management that would fit within the scope of the department functions.

 


Bachelor’s degree in Civil / Arch. EngineeringMinimum 10 years of experience in the same fieldExperience in construction and/or road and/or infrastructure worksExperience in legal concepts of construction contracts and contractual clausesExcellent communication and negotiation skillsDetailed OrientedFluent French language
