Business Development Specialist

• Identification of new business opportunities.

• Lead the development and preparation of expressions of interest (EOIs), tenders and proposals ensuring they are submitted on time and in accordance with client/ International Financial Institutions (World Bank, African Development Bank AfDB, KFW, GIZ, EBRD, IFC, UNDP) specifications.

• Conduct market analysis to identify new tender opportunities and assess their potential for business growth.

• Work closely with cross-functional departments including technical, financial and administrative departments to gather necessary information for tender submissions.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients and partners to support the development of business proposals.

• Ensure all tender documentation is clear, compelling, and technically accurate, and that it addresses all criteria set out in the tender requirements.

• Assist with the negotiation and closure of deals, as well as the handover to project implementation teams.

• Maintain a comprehensive database of active and historical tenders, including feedback and outcomes to inform future tenders.
