Marketing Director

Job Purpose:

It is a full-time on-site role for a Director of Marketing located in Cairo, Egypt. The Director of Marketing must has a Solid experience in the Automotive Industry. The Marketing Head will be responsible for overseeing press releases, media relations, marketing communications, public relations, and marketing activities, developing strategies and tactics to boost the company’s reputation and drive qualified traffic, deploying successful marketing campaigns from ideation to execution, tracking and analyzing the performance of advertising campaigns, managing the marketing budget and ensuring that all marketing material is in line with our brand identity.

 

Essential Duties:

  • Create monthly and annual marketing budgets, marketing plans and programs, both short and long-range, to ensure the profit growth and expansion of products and/or services.
  • Create marketing campaigns and follow up their implementation to execution.
  • Develop marketing strategies for all communication channels; Speeches, press release, etc.
  • Responsible for Marketing Intelligence activities “benchmarking, competitors & research”.
  • Oversee marketing campaigns, track their efficiencies and report findings to the CEO.
  • Negotiate and liaise with third-party marketing agencies for related marketing campaigns.
  • Monitor the budget of the marketing department and ensure the budget spent is delivering a “ROI” - return on investment.
  • Attend pertinent marketing/sales promotion meetings conducted by the manufacturer and dealer associations.
  • Align with different departments such as “Sales, After Sales, etc.” to match department objectives & KPIs.
  • Evaluate marketing campaigns to achieve the standard KPIs.
  • Study & enhance product line-up to guarantee the competitiveness of our models in the market.
  • New models introduction study “Positioning, pricing & volumes”.
  • Develop profiting for existing & new models “Customers, Sales target & communication target”.
  • Monitor MSRP “Manufacturer Suggested Retail Pricing” vs. TP “Transaction Price” for core models vs. their competitors.

 

 


Job Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field15+ years' experience in marketing with a strong background in automotive fieldExperience in the automotive industry is mustMBA holder is preferableStrong experience in press releases, media relations, and public relationsExpertise in marketing communications and marketing strategiesProficiency with online marketing and social media strategiesStrong written and verbal communication presentation, and organizational skillsStrong attention to detail and ability to multitaskStrong Analytical, leadership and Negotiation Skills.
