Area Security Supervisor

  • Security Operations Management:
    - Oversee the day-to-day security operations, including access control, visiting,
    incident response, and emergency preparedness.
    - Establish and maintain relationships with external security agencies
     
  • Security Assessments and Planning:
    - Conduct security assessments of the facility or area to identify vulnerabilities
    and develop appropriate security plans.
    - Support the section head for the risk assessment of the new sites.
     
  •  Incident Management:
    - Respond to security incidents, emergencies, alarms, or disturbances when
    necessary.
    - Coordinate and oversee the appropriate actions taken by security guards,
    ensuring effective incident management, reporting, and resolution.

    Financial Duties:
  • Asset Management:
    - Oversee the management and maintenance of security-related assets, such
    as surveillance systems, access control systems, and security vehicles.
    - Monitor asset utilization, track maintenance and repair, and ensure proper
    documentation of asset-related movement
  • Team Management Duties:
    - Lead and supervise a team of security guards and seniors.
    - Providing guidance, support, and coaching to help them perform their duties
    effectively.
  • Training and Development:
    - Coordinate and conduct training programs for security guards to enhance
    their skills, knowledge, and adherence to security policies.
    - Provide ongoing training on emergency response procedures, use of
    security equipment, and customer service skills.
    - Manage and supervise a team of security personnel, providing guidance,
    training, and performance evaluations.
    Customer Satisfaction Duties:
  • Security protocols and Risk mitigation:
    - Implementing robust security measures fosters a safe and secure
    environment for customers, encouraging trust and positive interactions. This
    includes physical security like access control, cybersecurity policies, and
    data breach prevention measures.
    - Thorough risk assessments and proactive mitigation strategies reduce the
    likelihood of incidents that could negatively impact customers, such as data
    breaches or physical threats.
  •  Customer feedback mechanisms:
    - Establishing channels for internal \ external customer feedback on security-
    related matters allows the manager to identify areas for improvement and
    address concerns that could affect customer satisfaction.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    - Collaborate with other departments to ensure security measures align with
    overall business objectives and comply with relevant laws and regulations.

Bachelor’s degree in business administration or any related field.Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar role.Proven experience in Security operations.V. Good command of MS Office programs.V. Good English Language.Soft Skills: Good communication.Attention to detail.Organization Skills.Leadership skills.Team working spirit.Technical Skills:Comprehensive knowledge of security protocols, procedures, and best practices.Familiarity with security equipment, surveillance systems, and access control systems.Physical fitness and the ability to perform security duties as required.Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
