- Optimize processes for the recycling of plastic materials especially PET, considering factors such as efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and environmental impact.
- Conduct research and development to improve existing recycling technologies or develop new ones that enhance the quality and yield of recycled textile fibers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including researchers, chemists, and production staff to scale up recycling processes from laboratory to industrial scale.
- Perform feasibility studies and cost analysis for new recycling projects, assessing technical, economic, and environmental viability.
- Monitor and troubleshoot recycling processes to ensure smooth operation and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in plastic recycling technologies, incorporating relevant innovations into the company's recycling initiatives.
- Provide technical expertise and support to internal stakeholders and external partners regarding plastic recycling processes and sustainable materials management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Engineering, Materials Science, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.- Proven experience in plastic recycling, materials processing, or related fields. Experience with polymers and plastics characterization is highly desirable.- Strong understanding of recycling principles, polymer chemistry, and industrial process engineering.- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects simultaneously.- Effective communication skills to convey complex technical information to diverse audiences.
