Safety Manager

Key Accountabilities:

  • Maintain and build a high standard of safety to prevent accidents, injuries, and work-related illness in the workplace.
  • Manage the factory safety program to ensure that areas of risk are identified and agreed priorities delivered.
  • Inspect equipment and machinery to observe possible unsafe conditions.
  • Conduct regular inspections and risk assessments to minimize risk and drive compliance in the facility.
  • Reporting, Investigating, and carrying out root cause analysis along with the team members for incidents, near misses, etc to avoid repetition.
  • Provide hands-on shop floor training.
  • Represent the business as appropriate in key forums and as the technical expert with relevant government authorities and interpret changes to their requirements.

Minumime 3 years of experience as a safety manager.BSc/BA in safety management or a relevant field is preferredValid qualification in occupational health and safetyExcellent level of EnglishDeep understanding of legal health and safety guidelinesAbility to produce reports and develop relevant policiesGood knowledge of data analysis and risk assessmentOutstanding attention to detail and observation abilityExceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
