- Prepares the applicable purchasing plan according to the monthly delivery plan
- Reviews the supplier base to ensure consistency with the sourcing strategy.
- Analyzes all suppliers in order to select the most suitable suppliers who are able to deliver high-quality products at competitive pricing.
- Allocates and balance the PO to all suppliers including local and global suppliers
- Manages supplier performance in terms of quality, cost, delivery, and responsiveness.
- Solves and coordinates the urgent and short-time purchasing cases
- Ensures commercial, legal, and contractual compliance in all procurement transactions.
- Defines and analyzes what we have in stock against minimum needs and critical stock level and link it to a procurement plan.
- Cooperates with cross-functional departments.
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical /industrial engineering is a must.5-10 years of experience in sourcing or purchasing.Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, sheet metal, and steel materials is preferableBasic finance knowledge.Very good level of English.The current work location is the 6th of October -Giza and within one year will be relocated to the 10th of Ramadan - Cairo.
