Key Responsibilities:
Operational Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with the company’s goals and objectives.
- Create and manage operational budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
- Identify and address operational risks and opportunities.
Process Improvement:
- Analyze and improve operational processes and workflows to enhance efficiency.
- Implement best practices and innovative solutions to optimize productivity.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of operational procedures.
Resource Management:
- Oversee the allocation and utilization of resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials.
- Ensure the availability of necessary resources to meet production and service delivery requirements.
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to secure favorable terms.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead, mentor, and develop the operations team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Set performance objectives, conduct regular evaluations, and provide feedback and coaching.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
Quality Control:
- Establish and enforce quality standards and procedures to ensure the delivery of high-quality products/services.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to maintain compliance with industry regulations and standards.
- Address and resolve quality issues and customer complaints in a timely manner.
Operational Reporting:
- Prepare and present regular reports on operational performance, including key metrics and KPIs.
- Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on data analysis and trends.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of operational activities.
Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legal, regulatory, and safety requirements.
- Implement and monitor health and safety policies and procedures.
- Address and mitigate any operational hazards or risks.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.Proven experience (5+ years) in operations management or a similar role.Strong knowledge of operational processes and principles.Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.Proficiency in operational software and tools, such as ERP systems.Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
