We are seeking a tour operator who has a Sense of hospitality.
 A Tour operator is responsible to organize and oversee the daily operations of the department. He will be the one to ensure that the business is well coordinated and productive by managing its procedures and coaching its staff. The area of responsibility for this role is very wide and thus requires thorough knowledge of various company processes. The Tour operator must be competent and able to plan many types of operational activities and efficient methods to run the business. 

  • Travel Arrangements: Coordinate and manage travel arrangements for clients, including booking flights, accommodations, transportation, and other related services.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout their travel experience.
  • Tour Management: Organize and manage tour itineraries, including coordinating with suppliers, preparing tour packages, and ensuring the smooth execution of tours.
  • Logistics: Handle logistical aspects such as coordinating with vendors, managing inventory, and ensuring timely delivery of services.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all services provided meet quality standards and comply with relevant regulations and policies.
  • Financial Management: Assist in budgeting and cost control activities, including tracking expenses, monitoring revenue, and optimizing operational cost efficiency.
  • Crisis Management: Handle unexpected events or emergencies during travel, such as flight cancellations, natural disasters, or medical emergencies, by implementing contingency plans and providing assistance to affected customers.
  • Following up on the final arrangements for Tickets, transportation, accommodation, tours, and guest activities.
  • Preparing quotations, and itineraries and performing all required approvals regards to the guest’s tour package.
  • Hold regular meetings with the team (Tour leader, tour guide) to strengthen communications and ensure that the same objectives are shared among all.
  • Dealing with guest queries, and complaints, and making alternative arrangements for guests.
  • Perfect coordination with the tour leaders/ tour guides to make sure that the guest does not face any snags in the tour and all glitches are avoided during the period of stay.
  • Taking care of their requirements concerning the place of interest, mode of transport preferred, period of stay, and other activities to be performed at the location, and providing customized services as per the requirements of each guest.
  • Checking out the entire tour, confirming guest names and “rooming list” with the aviation department and/or the hotels.
  • Make sure that the tour leader or Reps, tour guide, and/or tour manager are up to date using briefings & breaking news utilities.
  • Daily follow-up within the single daily tour, strong liaising with the Transfer department for arrangement.
  • Responsible for obtaining the required Permissions (Police, any gov entities for groups and/or individuals.
  • Follow up with booked restaurants for meal preferences, and cruises as well.  

Education: Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, Travel & Tourism, business administration, or relevant field.Experience: Minimum 2 years experience within the travel industry. Skills: Innovation and energy with a desire to drive others, Ability to present, persuade, and communicate effectively, results-oriented, Ability to create and manage sales strategies, promotions, etc., Possess strong leadership skills with excellent commercial and financial acumen, an analytical mind with strong negotiation skills, Demonstrable ability to solve problems and handle multiple tasks, Judgement and decision making.Knowledge: Basic understanding of maps, geography, and popular worldwide destinations, Knowledge of international travel regulationsPersonal Characteristics:  Be a positive role model for all staff and lead by example, Rigorous, well organized, and self-motivated.
