  • Supporting our practice by preparing documents like case rolls, weekly reports, and legal correspondence, as well as organizing, maintaining files, and keeping our legal system updated. You will also be asked to follow up with our partner law firms in all the marketplaces UAE, KSA, OMAN, and Egypt and assist with other tasks as required.
  • Organizing and maintaining documents in an electronic filing system.
  • Maintain a database of research.
  • Support business planning functions for new/ existing law firm partners.
  • Provide support to the team to implement business plans, processes, and leads from the chairman.
  • Prepare reports for management on a weekly and monthly basis.
  • take the Minutes of the Meeting and file them on the system as per each subject.
  • Coordinate internal department activities.
  •  Managing the Outlook calendar/ organizing and attending meetings, calls, and video calls as required.
  •  Work on the legal system and keep it updated.
  •  Drafting legal proposals, keeping a login of all sent LDS proposals, and following up with the client till acceptance or rejection.
  •  Upon case acceptance, follow up with the clients to complete the new cases files i.e., supporting docs, signed proposal, signed LSA,       POA …etc.
  •  Preparing case files, and send the documents to the translation team, and following up till the case registration.
  •  Follow up with the partner Law firm for case registration & for the daily progress of the cases.
  •  ensure that the clients have got the detailed update of the cases process on time and are provided with the best service.
  • To be successful in this role, you will need to be proficient with Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and Teams. You will also need to be able to multitask effectively and essentially thrive in a busy, team-oriented environment.
     

Bachelor's degree in Law from a reputable university;Knowledge of the laws that apply to oil and gas upstream business is a plus but not required;4-6 years of experience as a Legal Counsel is a mustFluency in both English and Arabic (speaking, reading and writing)
