Reservation Manager

We are seeking a Reservations Manager, a highly experienced, and skilled booking with in-depth knowledge of all reservation processes.
The Reservation Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all reservation processes within the organization. The role involves ensuring optimal service, maximizing room occupancy and revenue, and developing strategies to encourage repeat bookings. The Reservation Manager will also be responsible for coordinating with other departments to ensure seamless operations and high customer satisfaction.
 

  • Wide range of communications with the Nile cruise networks.
  • Wide range of communications with the hotels (all categories).
  • Wide range of communications with the restaurant networks.
  • Awareness of all reservation Processes (as cancellations, revisions, and information updates on changes; process guest reservation requests are required by the tourism and operations department.
  • Book guest reservations for individuals or/and groups that are requested either by all communications methods within the company by established standards and scripts.
  • Process all reservation requests, changes, upgrades, and cancellations received.
  • Verify availability of room type and rate. Explain guarantee, special rate, and cancellation policies to callers and/or to the team members. 
  • Follow proper escalation procedures when addressing guest concerns.
  • Accommodate and document any special requests. Answer questions about property facilities/services and hotel room accommodations for our valued guests or/and company's staff.
  • Provide us with relevant information, brochures, and publications (guides, maps, regulations, events, etc.)
  • Processing the annual reservation mass according to the annual business “itinerary map”.
  • Identify guest reservation needs and determine appropriate room type, Rates, facilities and …etc.
  • After receiving the rooming list from (the concerned department) to the hotel rooming list form for any group, for the company system start making a file for the group on it and upload the form which is prepared for the system.
  • Some other tasks related to the reservation may arise. (lecture rooms, halls, and events).
  • Prepare and present regular reports on reservation trends, room occupancy, and revenue.
  • Liaise with other departments, such as Sales and Marketing, to ensure seamless operations and high customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure availability and confirmation of booked services.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records and communication logs to streamline information flow across departments.

 Experience: At least 5 years of experience in a reservation role, preferably in the travel or hospitality  Education: Bachelor's degree in hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field. industry, with at least 2 years in a managerial position.Skills: Excellent customer service and communication skills. Strong organizational and leadership skills. Proficiency in reservation management software.Knowledge: Comprehensive knowledge of reservation processes and revenue management strategies. Understanding of the travel and hospitality industry and market trends.Personal Characteristics: Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills. Able to handle pressure and multi-task effectively.
