Key Responsibilities:
Product Promotion and Sales:
- Promote and sell the company’s pharmaceutical products or medical devices to healthcare professionals.
- Achieve or exceed sales targets within a specific territory.
- Organize appointments and meetings with healthcare staff, including pre-arranged appointments or regular 'cold' calling.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain good business relationships with customers to encourage repeat purchases.
- Act as a point of contact for existing and potential customers within an assigned territory.
- Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints efficiently.
Product Knowledge:
- Provide healthcare professionals with accurate information about the company's products, including usage, benefits, and side effects.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical data and research relevant to the products being promoted.
Market Research and Analysis:
- Monitor and analyze data and market conditions to identify competitive advantage.
- Collect and analyze information on competitors’ products and marketing strategies.
Reporting and Documentation:
- Prepare reports and documentation, including call reports, sales reports, and expense reports.
- Maintain detailed records of all contacts and meetings.
Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and ethical standards in all promotional activities.
- Adhere to the company's code of conduct and policies.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy, life sciences, medical sciences, or a related field.Experience: Previous experience in sales, especially in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry, is an advantage.
