- Oversee all daily operations of the distribution center, including receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and order fulfillment.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize warehouse processes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Manage inventory levels to ensure sufficient stock to meet customer demands without excess storage.
- Schedule and supervise warehouse staff, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, company policies, and performance standards.
- Track and analyze warehouse metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and ensure compliance with all regulations.
- Maintain accurate warehouse documentation and reporting.
- Manage warehouse budget and resources.
- Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement in warehouse operations.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with vendors and transportation providers.
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).Minimum of 5 years of experience in a distribution center management role.Strong understanding of warehouse operations, including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping processes.Proven ability to lead and motivate a team.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.Proficiency in warehouse management software (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
