Operational Duties
Product Strategy and Execution
● Collaborate with stakeholders to define and understand product vision, goals and strategy.
● Developing and maintaining a product roadmap that outlines the direction and milestones of
the product over time ensuring effective software product.
● Collaborate with the software engineers to prioritize, plan and schedule software releases.
● Facilitating communication and collaboration between different teams such as development,
design, marketing, sales, and support to ensure alignment and smooth execution of product
initiatives.
● Identifying and mitigating risks that could impact the success of the product, such as technical
challenges, resource constraints, or changes in market dynamics.
● Ensuring that the software product meets quality standards and customer expectations by
coordinating testing efforts and addressing any issues or bugs that arise.
Data-Informed Decision-Making
● Specify and implement analytics tools and methods to gather user insights.
● Collect and analyze feedback from users to continuously improve the product and enhance user
experience.
● Use data to guide to continuously improve products and prioritize product backlog.
Performance Measurement
● Define required product metrics, and performance measures to identify areas for improvement
and optimization.
● Tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) related to the product's usage, adoption, and
revenue to evaluate product success and inform future decisions.

Documentation
● Ensuring that documentation, such as product vision, strategy, roadmap, product features, user
guides, release notes, and technical specifications, are created and maintained to support users
and internal teams.
● Emphasize the importance of keeping documentation up to date as the product evolves.
Leadership and Culture Development
● Represent the product business arm both internally and externally, advocating product value
proposition and promoting it.
● Encourage a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the product team.
● Foster a collaborative and results-driven environment.
● Provide mentorship and business guidance to team members.
Financial Duties
o Budgeting and Financial Planning:
- Creating and managing the product budget.
- Track product expenses.
- Estimate and allocate funds for product research, development, testing, marketing, and
ongoing support activities.
- Monitor actual expenditures against the budget and provide regular financial reports.
o Financial Risk Management:
- Identify and assess financial risks associated with technology product initiatives, such as
cost overruns, revenue shortfalls, or unexpected expenses.
- Develop risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans to minimize financial risks and
protect the organization's financial interests.
o Cost Analysis and Pricing Strategies:
- Conduct cost analysis for technology products, including research and development costs,
production costs, and ongoing maintenance expenses.
- Determine optimal pricing strategies for technology products, considering factors such as
market demand, competitive landscape, and cost recovery goals.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to set product prices and discounts that
maximize profitability while remaining competitive in the market.

Customer Satisfaction Duties

- A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or any related field.- Minimum 1 year of proven experience as a product manager or product owner in the ITindustry.- Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) is a plus.
