The American Academy is looking for Customer Care Quality Officer who is responsible for ensuring services that meet the established standards set by the American Academy. Duties include maintaining strong overall quality control that made by the American Academy adhering to reliability, performance and customer expectation.

 

The Academic Development Office helps to realize the American Academy’ strategic vision of advancing art and design education by:

• Leading an ambitious expansion, diversification and internationalization of the academic offer;

• Overseeing the assurance of academic quality and standards;

• Enhancing the student learning experience by leading curriculum review, innovation and exchange;

• Enabling staff to gain recognition and reward for developing excellence in teaching and supporting learning;

• Supporting aspiring artists, designers and curators to realize their ambitions for studying and working in the creative sector.

The Head of Quality Assurance and Enhancement is responsible for supporting the realization of the American Academy ’s academic vision through the development, operation and review of the College’s quality assurance and enhancement processes. The potholder will help the College develop risk-based institutional and subject review processes that demonstrates to all stakeholders the quality of the taught and research student experience and the standards that students are expected to meet.

 


Main duties and responsibilities Quality Assurance and Enhancement• To advise the Senior Management Team (SMT) on issues relating to the regulation• To lead on any external reviews of academic quality and standards;• To lead the strategic review of AATC-wide policies and provision relating to quality and standards, to include proposing terms of reference, conducting research and agreeing outcomes;• To design and implement a model of continuous academic review across all of the AATC’s taught and research provision that enables the AATC to promptly identify and address challenges to the student experience, student progression and graduate outcomes.• To manage the approval processes for new academic developments: to include liaising with senior academic staff on requirements, acting as secretary to validation panels, and writing summary reports for Academic Standards Committee and Senate;• To manage the annual review of taught and research student provision, to include setting and monitoring key performance indicators;
