- Provides technical guidance to Design Engineers, CAD Designer/Drafters working on the same project.
- Prepares and issues specifications, data sheets, and other construction documents.
Strong understanding of cross-discipline work, interfaces, and sequencing for all phases of a project. - Well versed in project setup, instituting work processes, monitoring a team, execution, and closeout.
Review designs prepared by others as part of a Quality Management Process. - On-time delivery and high quality (first-time-right) of engineering deliverables of your team.
- Supervise and manage the review and approval of EPC Contractor’s work, ensuring compliance with Owner and Project specifications, relevant codes and standards, and industry best practices.
- Ensure quality and accuracy of EPC Contractor’s Structural Engineering design activities, system integration, and design selection.
- Coordinate the technical guidance required to develop new specifications and update existing specifications in line with Owner requirements.
- Preparation of technical submittals, methods statements, technical notes, design alternatives, etc.
Furnished a full structural plan and detailed drawings according to the design results. - Design and interpret design results with the aid of structural design programs with the governing codes.
- Collaborate with contractors and project managers.
