The main duties for the Mechanical BIM lead :
Package review:
- Check the information provided and list the missing information and technical queries.
Project execution:
- Model Authoring using Revit to reach the required LOD using IFC-Shop drawings- Material submittals.
- Internal Coordination within MEP disciplines using interference checks and Navisworks.
- Coordination with other Disciplines
- Draft RFIs and report issues to Senior stuff.
- Extract Shop drawings / As-built Drawings as per Project standards.
- Add FM attributes , 5D Cost loading, 4D activity loading to relevant Model elements.
Good Knowledge of mechanical engineering (Firefighting- Plumbing - HVAC).Excellent user for 3D engineering design and Shop drawings tools (Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks).knowledge of BIM terminology.Ability to communicate in a clear and understandable manner.Knowledge of international Codes such as Ashrae ,NFPA,IPC.BSc degree in Engineering.Dynamo , 4D/ 5D knowledge is a bonus.KSA- UAE projects Experience is a plus
