  1. Develop, implement and maintain safety policies and procedures in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations. 
  2. Conduct regular safety inspections of facilities, equipment, and processes to identify hazards and potential risks.
  3. Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence. 
  4. Coordinate with management and relevant departments to implement corrective and preventive measures identified during inspections and investigations.
  5. Provide safety training to employees on topics such as hazard recognition, emergency response, and personal protective equipment usage. 
  6. Maintain records of safety-related incidents, inspections, and training activities. 
  7. Stay informed about changes in safety regulations and best practices and ensure organizational compliance. 
  8. Participate in safety committees or teams to promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement. 
  9. Conduct risk assessments and recommend controls to minimize workplace hazards. 
  10. Assist in the development of emergency response plans and procedures. 
  11. Provide support during regulatory inspections and audits. 

Education/Certification:  Bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety, environmental science, engineering, or related field or occupational health and safety diploma. Experience: One to two years of experience in HSE field, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.Understanding of relevant safety regulations and standards OSHA & IOSHKnowledge of occupational health and safety principles and practices  Familiarity with risk assessment and hazard analysis techniques Understanding of emergency response procedures Awareness of environmental health and safety issues
