Purchasing Specialist

1. Identifying and evaluating potential suppliers for construction materials, equipment, and services.

2. Negotiating pricing and terms with suppliers to ensure the best value for the company.

3. Managing relationships with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery of materials and equipment.

4. Coordinating with project managers to determine their specific procurement needs.

5. Tracking inventory levels and ordering materials as needed to avoid delays in construction projects.

6. Monitoring market trends and prices to identify cost-saving opportunities.

7. Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures related to purchasing.


1. A bachelor's degree in business, or a related field.2. Previous experience from 4 to 6  in purchasing within the construction industry.3. Strong negotiation skills and attention to detail.4. Knowledge of construction materials, equipment, and suppliers.5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and procurement software.6. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
