Tamdeen Youth Foundation (TYF) has received a grant for the implementation of the Localization and optimization of response management in Yemen. Part of this operation is the consultancy services as mentioned above. Therefore, the TYF requests you to submit your proposal. Please be guided by this technical and financial form and the attached Terms of Reference (TOR).

I.    Eligibility, qualification, and experience required

Eligible Applicants:

Tamdeen Youth Foundation welcomes applications from a wide range of qualified candidates, including:

1.    Yemeni individual professionals or subject matter experts with specialized knowledge and experience in evaluation, and research in related fields.
2.    International individual professionals or subject matter experts with specialized knowledge and experience in evaluation, and research in related fields, experience in Working in Yemen, and (who can work remotely):
3.    Yemeni non-governmental organizations (NGOs) are actively engaged in development, and humanitarian, and have proven experience in research work related to the focus areas of the project.
4.    Policy centers or research organizations based in Yemen with expertise in the field of evaluation, international development, or related areas.
5.    Interns or Volunteers with Strong Research and Evaluation Skills (Under the Supervision of a Qualified Evaluator):

Academic Qualifications:

• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as international development, social sciences, or a related discipline. A Master's degree in a relevant field is preferred but not mandatory.
• Proof of English language proficiency.

3.3.    Experience and Knowledge:

1.    At least 5 years of proven conducting relevant research projects including inception design, methodologies, survey design, data collection, and analysis or practical experience in donor partnership frameworks and practices with donor systems preferably working with donors or with local actors’ partnerships, awards, and PDQ departments preferably in the Yemen context
2.    Proven practical experience in data collection, and qualitative research methods, including secondary data review, conducting key informant interviews (KIIs), facilitating focus group discussions (FGDs), and knowledge of ethical research principles and procedures.
3.    Proven practical experience in data analysis, and report writing.

II.    IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING THIS RFP: 

• TYF reserves the right to accept or reject the whole or part of your quotation based on the information provided. Incomplete quotations, which do not comply with our conditions, will not be considered. 
• The expected duration of this service shall be 3 months , and the final delivery of the services shall not exceed the 31 of August 2024.
• Proposed budget detailing consultancy fees and all budgets and final quotations should be made in USD.
