The Foundation provides community development, civic education and capacity-building programs. It implements positive emergency interventions and has strategic partnerships with many international, regional and local Organizations

Dear Sir/Madam:

Tamdeen Youth Foundation (TYF) has received a grant for the implementation of the Localization and optimization of response management in Yemen. Part of this operation is the consultancy services as mentioned above. Therefore, the TYF requests you to submit your proposal. Please be guided by this technical and financial form and the attached Terms of Reference (TOR).

I.    Eligibility, qualification, and experience required

Eligible Applicants:

Tamdeen Youth Foundation welcomes applications from a wide range of qualified candidates, including:

1.    Yemeni individual professionals or subject matter experts with specialized knowledge and experience in evaluation, and research in related fields.

2.    Interns or Volunteers with Strong Experience and Skills in the field

Qualifications and Skills Required

Academic Qualifications:

  • University degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Web Development, or related field(s).
  • Proof of English language proficiency.

Experience and Knowledge:

  • At least 5 years of proven previous working experience in website development, optimization, administration, content editing, marketing, and management.
  • Practical experience in learning management systems (LMS) and capacity building programmes including the development and delivery of online training materials and resources.
  • Strong background in non-for-profit work, humanitarian and development areas, including knowledge/experience within government entities, and work experience with international organizations, local/national 
  • Strong background in web development including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and familiarity with responsive design principles and familiarity with content management.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing strategies and outreach techniques to attract and retain website users.

Competencies:

  • Proven ability to work efficiently and deliver results in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the initiative to identify and address website optimization opportunities.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly and effectively.
  • Analytical mindset with the capability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills, including the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Fluency in English (verbal and written) is required. Proficiency in Arabic is a plus

II.    IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING THIS RFP: 

  • TYF reserves the right to accept or reject the whole or part of your quotation based on the information provided. Incomplete quotations, which do not comply with our conditions, will not be considered. 
  • The expected duration of this service shall be 3 months, and the final delivery of the services shall not exceed the 31 of August 2024.
  • Proposed budget detailing consultancy fees and all budgets and final quotations should be made in USD.
