We are looking for hiring ITS (Intelligent Transportation Systems) Expert for our Smart Mobility team, include ITS Design, Systems Integration , Software Development, and ITS Documentation. Managing the operation of signalized intersections, through knowledge of Traffic Operations Engineering principles, SCOOT/UTC, LSCS, VISSIM, VMS, EPROM testing and configuration.

Responsibilities:

• Lead team development to ensure seamless project execution; oversee recruitment, staffing, and hiring within your department while supporting talent needs across other functions.
• The head must guide his team and departments concerned with implementing the strategy and ensure its effective implementation.
• Inspire and mentor team members to achieve excellence in their results.
• Managing the team and is responsible for the preparation, implementation, checking and fine-tuning of traffic signal timing plans with the associated before and after studies and developing Models for project Traffic Engineering team.
• Collaborate with regional leaders and project managers to allocate resources effectively, matching projects and proposals with the right skills and capacity for archiving the set objectives.
• Maintain resource utilization targets to drive optimal performance and profitability.
• Guiding the team of Engineers and Project Managers and client in the preparation of various strategies and timing plans required for the successful management.
• Lead technical resource planning efforts, engaging team members in requirements discovery to ensure alignment with project goals and client expectations.
• Monitor team performance, offering timely feedback and implementing improvement plans as needed; conduct quarterly performance reviews with direct reports.
• Establish and enforce development best practices and guidelines.
• Foster a culture of innovation and empowerment, encouraging ideation and adopting valuable ideas.
• Integrate continuous improvement practices to keep skills current and enhance technical readiness; develop targeted training plans to address skill gaps.
• Identify opportunities for efficiency improvement to maximize value, utilization, and profitability.
• Stay updated on technology trends and best practices.
• Review and recommend updates to the Technical Guidelines and prepare new processes as needed to enhance Traffic Signal Operations related activities.
• Provide project management and technical expertise, overseeing all aspects of project execution and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Uphold technical and commercial excellence through Quality Assurance processes; report progress and address any issues affecting cost or schedule.
• Engage with customers and prospects to showcase capabilities, experience, and reputation as needed for project work or business development activities.
• Managing and evaluating new technologies and examining the advantages and disadvantages and estimating the expected costs and benefits.

Skills

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related fields
• PMP Preferred.
• Min 10 years of experience in ITS Projects Management.
