A Quality Control Analyst with the global leader in the creation of Taste & Wellbeing and Fragrance & Beauty, and a key member of our Fragrance Dubai Application team providing essential support for our Fine Fragrance and Fragrance Consumer Products Development teams, and based in Dubai - Your future position?

Our Creative Fragrance Application Lab in Dubai provides critical lab support and analytical study for several fragrance applications and ingredients for our Creative Fragrance Development teams for Fine Fragrance and Consumer Products. This helps us provide unique and winning fragrance options for our customers in the Middle East and North Africa region.

To support some of our new strategic initiatives, we are hiring an additional ‘Quality Control Analyst’ for our new Quality Control team established within our Fragrance Application Lab in Dubai. You will perform supporting tasks in the quality function that facilitates the efficiency of QC and help build the Quality Assurance and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) strategies for our Fragrance Creation and Application Labs in Dubai. 

The role will be based in our Dubai Media City office and report to the Regional Quality Control Manager, providing excellent opportunities for learning and development in a very creative environment.

In this exciting role, you will -  

Bring your passion: 

• Perform and record essential routine equipment maintenance and daily calibration control checks.
• Support other laboratory functions: prepare solutions, maintain lab supplies, file paper records and documentation, prepare fragrance samples for despatch, store and retrieve retained and reference samples.

Utilise the very best of you: 

• Provide administrative support for Quality Control tests such as weighing balances, densitometers, refractometers, moisture balances, Karl Fischer titrators, Sieve testing equipment, Gas Chromatography, and colour.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in Quality Control.

Improve efficiency and excellence:

• Promote a clean laboratory environment and lab equipment following EH&S guidelines and good laboratory practices.
• Administer sample requests and facilitate the order of fragrance oils.
• Promptly record and communicate test results.

We are looking for -

• A Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology or any other relevant discipline. 
• 2+ years of relevant QC support work experience in a laboratory environment. Prior experience in fragrance applications or compounding will be an added advantage.  
• Preference will be given to candidates already based in the United Arab Emirates.  
• A good appreciation of quality standards. 
• A basic understanding or experience in operating analytical lab equipment and instruments.
• A team player and comfortable with diversity.
