General Description of Role and Responsibilities:<br/><br/>Technical<br/><br/>Leadership:<br/><br/>Provide<br/><br/>technical leadership and guidance to project teams involved in water and<br/><br/>wastewater infrastructure projects.<br/><br/>Collaborate<br/><br/>with engineers, designers, and other technical specialists to develop<br/><br/>innovative solutions and address project challenges.<br/><br/>Ensure<br/><br/>adherence to engineering standards, specifications, and best practices<br/><br/>throughout the project lifecycle.<br/><br/>Knowledge<br/><br/>Management:<br/><br/>Develop<br/><br/>and implement knowledge management strategies to capture, organize, and<br/><br/>disseminate technical expertise, lessons learned, and best practices.<br/><br/>Establish<br/><br/>repositories, databases, and platforms for storing technical<br/><br/>documentation, design guidelines, and project deliverables.<br/><br/>Facilitate<br/><br/>knowledge-sharing sessions, workshops, and training programs to transfer<br/><br/>technical knowledge and skills to project team members.<br/><br/>Capacity<br/><br/>Building:<br/><br/>Identify<br/><br/>competency gaps and training needs within the project team and develop<br/><br/>tailored learning and development plans to enhance technical<br/><br/>capabilities.<br/><br/>Mentor<br/><br/>junior engineers and guide technical aspects of project execution,<br/><br/>including design, construction, and commissioning activities.<br/><br/>Facilitate<br/><br/>cross-training initiatives to promote interdisciplinary collaboration and<br/><br/>knowledge exchange among team members.<br/><br/>Quality<br/><br/>Assurance:<br/><br/>Implement<br/><br/>quality assurance processes and review mechanisms to ensure the accuracy,<br/><br/>completeness, and consistency of technical deliverables.<br/><br/>Conduct<br/><br/>technical reviews, audits, and assessments to validate compliance with<br/><br/>project requirements, specifications, and industry standards.<br/><br/>Technical<br/><br/>Governance:<br/><br/>Establish<br/><br/>technical governance frameworks, standards, and guidelines to govern the<br/><br/>execution of water and wastewater projects.<br/><br/>Monitor<br/><br/>project performance metrics, key performance indicators (KPIs), and<br/><br/>technical benchmarks to track progress and identify areas for<br/><br/>improvement.<br/><br/>Stakeholder<br/><br/>Engagement:<br/><br/>Liaise<br/><br/>with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, regulatory<br/><br/>agencies, and technical partners, to address technical issues, resolve<br/><br/>conflicts, and foster collaboration.<br/><br/>Communicate<br/><br/>technical concepts, project updates, and technical risks to non-technical<br/><br/>stakeholders clearly and concisely.<br/><br/>Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:<br/><br/>Minimum<br/><br/>of 8+ years of experience.<br/><br/>Bachelor's<br/><br/>Degree in IT or Engineering.<br/><br/>Expertise<br/><br/>in Project management information systems.<br/><br/>Strong<br/><br/>Knowledge of Technical related to infrastructure and DB's, network<br/><br/>back-group.<br/><br/>Experienced<br/><br/>in change management and technology enablement.<br/><br/>Familiarity<br/><br/>with Oracle products for Capital Projects, Procurement and Finance.<br/><br/>#J-18808-Ljbffr
