HSEQ SYSTEMS MANAGER

The HSEQ Systems Manager will be responsible for the implementation and the continued certification of management systems subscribed to. The Manager will write policies and procedures relevant to the needs of the business in accordance with current legislation and industry best standards. The Manager will manage audits throughout the business and will manage/ assist to all risk pertaining to the corporate HSEQ risk register. The Manager will liaise with Directors and Senior Management in respect to compliance areas within their departments and will provide a support function to all areas of the business including the training of Dar Al Riyadh employees. Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing the strategic HSEQ initiatives/objectives as part of the Dar Al Riyadh Business Plan.
  • Development and implementation of Dar Al Riyadh Management System.
  • Compliance to Annual audit program.
  • Submission of Monthly Report.
  • Continuation of certification of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 by Third Party.
  • Identify, develop, review, and implement corporate Dar Al Riyadh Management System.
  • Support Departments to identify, develop and implement their business process.
  • Identify and establish process key performance indicators and their monitoring.
  • Manage the performance of the HSEQ audits and set clear targets and objectives regarding external certification.
  • Developing and presenting detailed project / program HSEQ reports.
  • Identifying trends emerging from data analysis and mitigation of the same.
  • Coaching and mentoring of HSEQ team.
  • Support development of the HSEQ capability in line with the business needs
  • Conduct annual management review and submit the report to Top Management
  • Identify / review Department Risks and implement mitigation measures.
  • Ensure HSEQ people resources are utilized to ensure efficient and effective outcomes.
  • Support the procurement process by providing HSEQ inputs to tenders and prequalification and providing relevant presentation to the client.
  • Promote a HSEQ “Leading Excellence” culture consistent with Dar Al Riyadh objectives and values including zero harm, right first time and building a positive health and safety culture.
Essential Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree, master’s degree and/or equivalent Diploma.
  • Lead Auditor of QMS, EMS and HSMS
  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in implementing and monitoring effective HSEQ Systems in line with international best practice.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience of leading team for HSEQ development and implementation
  • Effective use of common IT systems (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
  • Knowledge of SharePoint & HSE incident reporting systems
  • Effective English oral/written & report writing communication skills.
  • High levels of personal credibility and gravitas.
  • Strong leadership ability with a dynamic mind-set.
  • Ability to establish and maintain trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders and ability to influence decision making across all levels.
