I am looking for an experienced Biomedical / MedTech Engineer in the Greater Cairo region for a role combining technical expertise with commercial development.

Technical & Commercial Development

This is not a purely technical service position.

I am looking for someone with strong experience in the medical-device sector and, importantly, solid hands-on experience with surgical endoscopy systems and related OR applications.

The role will include:

• Product demonstrations and technical presentations

• Customer visits and relationship development

• Follow-up of commercial opportunities

• Coordination of installations, training and after-sales activities

• Support for hospital projects and tenders

• Communication with international manufacturers and suppliers

What I am looking for:

• Degree in Biomedical Engineering or a related field

• Minimum 5 years of relevant MedTech experience. The role is equally relevant for more senior professionals with extensive industry experience and a strong technical, customer-facing or commercial track record

• Strong practical experience in surgical endoscopy. Experience in one or more related application areas such as laparoscopy, arthroscopy, urology, gynecology or MIS is highly relevant

• Experience working directly with surgeons, OR teams and hospital biomedical departments; technical or application support inside the operating room during procedures is a strong advantage

• Strong customer-facing skills, with experience in demonstrations, applications, sales, projects, tenders or after-sales support

• Strong Arabic and English, with the ability to work independently and take responsibility

• A driving licence and the ability to travel independently by car across the Greater Cairo region is an advantage

I am particularly interested in someone who can move comfortably between technical discussions in the OR, customer relationships and commercial opportunities.

The role will focus primarily on surgical endoscopy, while also supporting additional MedTech product areas as the portfolio develops.

The role covers the Greater Cairo region, with regular customer visits across Cairo and surrounding areas and exposure to international MedTech manufacturers and products.
