We are looking for an experienced and proactive HR Manager to oversee and manage the Human Resources function at Venus International Free Zone for Grain Trading & Marine Services. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies, managing employee relations, recruitment, performance management, training, payroll coordination, and ensuring compliance with Egyptian labor regulations.
The role requires a hands-on HR professional who can work effectively in an operational environment and support both management and employees while ensuring that HR policies and practices are consistently applied across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and practices aligned with company objectives.
Manage the full recruitment and selection process, including manpower planning, sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding.
Oversee employee relations and address employee concerns, grievances, and disciplinary matters professionally and fairly.
Manage employee attendance, leave, personnel records, and HR documentation.
Coordinate monthly payroll with the Finance Department and ensure accurate and timely processing.
Ensure compliance with Egyptian labor laws, social insurance requirements, and other applicable regulations.
Develop and implement performance management processes, including KPIs, performance reviews, and employee development plans.
Identify training and development needs and coordinate relevant training programs.
Support workforce planning and organizational development initiatives.
Prepare and maintain HR reports, dashboards, and workforce analytics for management.
Monitor employee engagement, retention, and workplace culture.
Manage the onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure a smooth employee experience.
Ensure that company HR policies are communicated clearly and consistently to all employees.
Maintain accurate and confidential employee files and HR records.
Work closely with department heads and management to understand manpower requirements and HR-related challenges.
Support the implementation and effective use of HR systems and digital HR processes.
Handle disciplinary actions and employee investigations in accordance with company policies and applicable legislation.
Develop initiatives that improve employee engagement, productivity, and retention.
Provide HR guidance and support to management on employee-related matters.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
7–10 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 3 years in an HR Manager or similar leadership role.
Strong knowledge of Egyptian Labor Law and Social Insurance regulations.
Experience managing recruitment, payroll coordination, employee relations, performance management, and training.
Previous experience in industrial, manufacturing, logistics, trading, maritime, or operational environments is highly preferred.
Strong knowledge of HR systems and Microsoft Office.
