Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Site Engineer to oversee the day-to-day execution of retail fit-out projects, with a primary focus on restaurants, cafés, and other F&B outlets. The Site Engineer will be responsible for supervising site activities, coordinating subcontractors, ensuring quality workmanship, maintaining project schedules, and delivering projects in accordance with company standards, client requirements, and HSE regulations. Key Responsibilities Supervise daily site activities and ensure work is executed according to approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules. Coordinate and monitor all fit-out works, including architectural, MEP, and finishing activities. Review construction drawings, shop drawings, and material submittals before execution. Coordinate with Project Managers, Consultants, Designers, and Clients to resolve technical issues. Monitor subcontractors' performance, productivity, and compliance with project requirements. Ensure all materials delivered to site meet approved specifications and quality standards. Conduct regular site inspections and identify quality issues or non-conformities. Prepare daily and weekly progress reports and update project records. Assist in project planning and monitor progress against the approved schedule. Coordinate inspections, testing, snagging, and final handover activities. Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations at all times. Identify potential delays or risks and propose corrective actions. Verify measurements and quantities for completed works. Support procurement by identifying material requirements and monitoring site inventory. Maintain proper documentation, including RFIs, site instructions, variation orders, and as-built records. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Architectural Engineering, or a related discipline.1–3 years of experience in Interior Fit-Out projects. Previous experience in Retail, Restaurants, Cafés, or F&B fit-out projects is highly preferred. Strong understanding of interior finishing works and MEP coordination. Familiarity with local construction standards and safety regulations.
