Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Giza for a Sales Packaging Machines Engineer. The role involves identifying customer needs, presenting suitable packaging machine solutions, and preparing technical and commercial proposals. Daily tasks include visiting clients, conducting packaging line assessments, coordinating machine demonstrations, and supporting installation and commissioning with the technical team. The engineer will maintain strong relationships with existing customers, follow up on leads, and contribute to sales forecasts and market analysis. Collaboration with engineering, production, and after-sales service teams is required to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
Qualifications
Experience in packing operations and practical understanding of packaging processes and workflows. Skills in packaging design and the ability to adapt machine solutions to diverse product and line requirements. Background in packaging engineering, with knowledge of machinery specifications, integration, and performance optimization. Quality control skills related to packaging outputs, machine performance, and compliance with customer and industry standards. Ability to conduct research on market trends, competitor offerings, and new packaging technologies. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field. Proven experience in technical sales, preferably in packaging machines or industrial equipment. Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders. Comfort working on-site in production environments and visiting customer facilities in Giza and surrounding areas. Proficiency in MS Office and basic CAD or technical drawing tools is an advantage. Ability to work independently, manage multiple opportunities, and collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.
