Role Description The Senior Business Development Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in New Cairo. This role is responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, expanding the customer base, and strengthening relationships with key commercial and residential clients. Daily tasks include conducting market analysis, preparing and presenting technical and commercial proposals, coordinating with internal teams to ensure accurate product specifications, and following up on leads to close sales. The Senior Business Development Engineer will also collaborate with management to shape growth strategies, support pricing decisions, and provide feedback on customer needs and market trends. The position requires regular client visits, product demonstrations, and participation in industry events to promote City Floor Decoration and Forbo solutions.
Qualifications Strong Business Development and New Business Development skills, with a proven track record in identifying opportunities and driving growth. Sales and Communication skills to build relationships, negotiate effectively, and present solutions to diverse stakeholders. Analytical Skills to assess market data, evaluate customer requirements, and support strategic decision-making. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Experience in flooring, construction materials, building finishes, or a related industry is highly beneficial. Ability to work on-site in New Cairo, manage multiple projects, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Proficiency in using CRM tools and MS Office applications; strong reporting and documentation capabilities. Professional working proficiency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
