Job Details

Core Responsibilities & Duties Contract Drafting & Review: Prepare, review, and evaluate contracts, agreements, and tender documents for subcontractors and clients. Claims & Variation Orders: Evaluate change orders, variation claims, and extension of time (EOT) requests from subcontractors. Tendering & Bidding: Participate in the pre-qualification of contractors and the commercial evaluation of bids and proposals. Commercial Negotiation: Negotiate commercial and contractual terms with subcontractors, vendors, and clients to protect company interests. Contract Administration: Manage ongoing contract compliance, track milestones, and ensure both parties meet their contractual obligations. Risk Identification: Identify commercial and legal risks in project contracts and provide mitigation strategies to the project director. Dispute Resolution: Handle contractual disagreements and claims efficiently to avoid costly legal disputes.
Role Requirements Experience: 10+ years of experience in contract administration, quantity surveying, or commercial management within Egypt. Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related engineering field. Knowledge Base:Strong understanding of Egyptian Civil Code and standard contract formats (such as standard FIDIC forms). Language Skills: Excellent written and spoken English and Arabic for writing legal contracts and business correspondence. Software Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word) for handling commercial sheets and drafting documents.
