Job Description:Emperial Constructions is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Civil Tendering Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the full tendering process, from reviewing tender documents to preparing technical and financial proposals.
Key Responsibilities:Study tender documents, drawings, specifications, and BOQs thoroughly. Prepare quantity take-offs and accurate cost estimates for civil construction projects. Request, evaluate, and negotiate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors. Prepare technical and commercial tender submissions within required deadlines. Identify potential project risks, exclusions, and cost-saving opportunities. Coordinate with the procurement, technical office, and project execution teams. Assist in post-tender clarifications and negotiations with clients. Prepare handover documents for awarded projects.
Qualifications and Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. Minimum 5 years of experience in tendering, estimation, or quantity surveying within construction companies. Strong knowledge of civil construction methods, materials, BOQs, and cost estimation. Proficiency in Auto CAD, Microsoft Excel, and tendering/estimation tools. Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills. Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines. Experience with large-scale construction projects is preferred.
