Project Director – Construction
A leading construction company is hiring an experienced and highly driven Project Director to lead and oversee major construction projects, ensuring successful delivery within the required time, cost, quality, and safety standards.
Job Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the overall execution of construction projects from inception to completion.
Develop and monitor project plans, schedules, budgets, and execution strategies.
Provide leadership and direction to project management, engineering, construction, procurement, and support teams.
Ensure projects are delivered according to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and contractual requirements.
Monitor project progress, identify potential delays and risks, and implement corrective actions.
Control project costs, resources, and productivity to achieve financial targets.
Manage relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
Review and approve project reports, forecasts, schedules, and key performance indicators.
Ensure full compliance with HSE policies, quality standards, and company procedures.
Resolve major technical, contractual, commercial, and operational issues affecting project performance.
Provide regular updates and strategic recommendations to senior management.
Requirements
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related Engineering discipline.
15+ years of proven experience in the construction industry.
At least 5 years of experience in a senior leadership position, such as Project Director, Senior Project Manager, or equivalent.
Proven experience in managing large-scale construction projects.
Strong background in project planning, cost control, contracts, construction management, and risk management.
Excellent leadership, decision-making, negotiation, and communication skills.
Strong ability to manage multiple teams and stakeholders effectively.
Excellent knowledge of Primavera P6 / MS Project, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office.
Very good command of English.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
